Get involved -- Volunteer with us!

Picture
We are looking for volunteers to reinforce the network as a central hub of support and information for new and established community gardeners alike. People can take on new projects with SDCGN, or they can add a SDCGN association to their existing community roles. Here are the positions we are seeking in order to create a countywide community of community gardeners, and we are open to additional ideas as people become more involved.

SDCGN as an Organization (General)
Whether you are  currently a community gardener, would like to become one, or are a friend of community gardens it is your participation and support that will create a vibrant community garden movement in San Diego. The Network needs people with experience in all of the following: gardening, the web, fundraising, accounting/finance, writing skills, teaching, advocacy, carpentry, public speaking, irrigation, composting, cooking, event planning, research.  If you just want to lend a hand and are interested in developing gardening skills we often need a helping at events and on short term projects.
